Quality Control for Instructors
IICRC approved instructors must have at least 5 years experience
in the applied-for subject field. Foremost, they must be of good
reputation and respected within the industry. They must be a
Master Cleaner and/or Restorer. Further, they must be affiliated
with an IICRC approved school. Instructors are required to attain
Professional Development Credits and Industry Participation Requirements
annually. Initially, all instructors are presented for approval
to the Certification Council (a group of some 100 industry representatives)
and to the IICRC Board of Directors for final approval. This
gives you the guarantee that by taking an IICRC approved course
you will be tutored by the experts.
"Certified individuals and companies are respected by their customers
and industry peers. They receive training in the newest techniques
and information on the latest products. Increased knowledge breeds
confidence in themselves and their services, which translates
into increased sales and processing efficiency" extract from
www.iicrc.org.
Are you e-enabled?
Calling all UK IICRC certified technicians. We are in the process
of reviewing your records collected by our headquarters in the
US and we are short of many email addresses. We reckon that
over 85% of certified technicians have email addresses but we
have addresses for less then 30% on our database. This is preventing
us from keeping in touch on a more regular basis. Please take
a few moments and email claire@admin.co.uk confirming your email address and giving us permission to include
you in our future emailings.
Credit Cards Accepted
In response to requests from registrants, IICRC UK can now accept
payment for fees and standards in sterling via all major credit
cards.
Continuing Education Credits
Certified technicians are required to keep up with their Continuing
Education Credits (CECs). Such credits can be achieved by simply attending industry events
and/or seminars where you learn about current trends and techniques.
